72 HOURS IN SINAI
May 19 2018

By Lotte Beilin

The Red Sea gracing the South Sinai shores is really one of the cleanest waters I have ever swum in. Salam, Erin and I set out on an adventure into the arid landscape. Miles of coastal granite mountains with clouded views of Saudi Arabia. An abundance of marine life, sheltered reefs and pristine coral, Lion Fish scatter themselves across the sea floor at twilight. We walked over the border from Eilat, Israel to Taba, Egypt, I felt like I was back in Europe. That adrenaline rush of stepping into a neighboring country, so easily, doesn't happen often in this region. This is what it's like to visit South Sinai.
